Parmesan Garlic Salt
2 tbsp (30 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp (5 mL) Windsor® Half Salt™ or
Windsor® Table Salt
½ tsp (2 mL) freshly freshly ground Windsor® Black Peppercorns
¼ tsp (1 mL) garlic powder
Hot Mustard Salt
2 tsp (10 mL) Windsor® Half Salt™ or
Windsor® Table Salt
2 tsp (10 mL) dry mustard
½ tsp (2 mL) each dried thyme and freshly ground Windsor® Black Peppercorns
dash of cayenne pepper
Spicy Cinnamon Salt
2 tsp (5 mL) Windsor® Half Salt™ or
Windsor® Table Salt
1 tsp (5 mL) each granulated sugar and
ground cinnamon
½ tsp (2 mL) cayenne pepper
Hot Curried Salt
2 tsp (5 mL) Windsor® Half Salt™ or
Windsor® Table Salt
1 tsp (5 mL) each curry powder and ground cumin
½ tsp (2 mL) cayenne pepper (or to taste)
Preparation
Prepare assorted salt toppers by combining ingredients in 4 small bowls.
Following manufacturer’s instructions, pop ½ cup (125 mL) popcorn kernels in a stove-top popcorn popper or hot air popper. Transfer popcorn into a serving bowl. If desired, drizzle with 2 tbsp (30 mL) melted butter or vegetable oil (or a mixture of both); gently toss.
Set out bowls or popcorn bags and small spoons for the salt toppers. Encourage guests to sample one or more of the salt toppers and to select their favourites.
